Our story

Le Klok Bistro is a place where you will experience the spirit of France with the best ingredients from our region. The local color is the inspiration, and the great French gastronomy is the guide. Our vision combines French cooking techniques and exclusively domestic, local, and seasonal ingredients. The desire is to present classic French bistro dishes, French gastronomy and culture, but with a deep respect for the local milieu and our traditions.

Creative cuisine and the desire to host, and share love and enthusiasm with you, for our team represents the essence and true calling of the whole being.

Authenticity and honesty have no price. We patiently and dedicatedly design the menu and look forward to sharing a dream with you. Our restaurant was created out of love and enthusiasm, as a place where we can play freely and enjoy creativity.

When we say bistro – what do you think of it?

Cozy and authentic restaurant or cafe. Intimate, chamber atmosphere.
Great music, and even better food. French charm.

But, did you know that the origin of the word bistro is linked to the Russian language? According to popular folk etymology, the word originated among the Russian troops that occupied Paris after the Napoleonic Wars. Soldiers entered taverns and shouted – bistro, bistro – wanting to be served quickly (быстро –fast in Russian).

Le Klok Bistro, however, is not a place where food is served quickly. We know that all good things are simmered and born with patience.
